  • • Basics of fasteners production technology:

    For the complete production cycle of low-strength classes "black" bolts, nuts, self-tappers, screws of low strength classes you need the following equipment:
    Multiposition cold heading machine (3- or 4-position - depending on the complexity of the shape of the bolts, nuts, self-tappers, screws; standard or long-stroke - depending on the length of bolts, nuts, self-tappers, screws) + thread rolling machine.

    For the complete production cycle of bolts, nuts, self-tappers, screws of low strength classes with corrosion-resistant coating (galvanized, hot-dip galvanized) need the following equipment:
    Multiposition cold heading machine (3- or 4-position - depending on the complexity of the shape of the bolts, nuts, self-tappers, screws; standard or long-stroke - depending on the length of bolts, nuts, self-tappers, screws) + thread rolling machine + line of anticorrosion coating (galvanizing, phosphatizing, immunization, nickel plating or hot-dip galvanizing and others.).

    For the complete production cycle of bolts, nuts, self-tappers, screws of high strength classes with corrosion-resistant coating (galvanized, hot-dip galvanized) need the following equipment:
    Multiposition cold heading machine (3- or 4-position - depending on the complexity of the shape of the bolts, nuts, self-tappers, screws; standard or long-stroke - depending on the length of bolts, nuts, self-tappers, screws) + thread rolling machine + heat treatment line + line of anticorrosion coating (galvanizing, phosphatizing, immunization, nickel plating or hot-dip galvanizing and others.).

    Wire (calibrated rolling) is supplied from coils to CH (cold header), which cuts a blank of required length, forms a head, a shoulder and a bevel (where the last are available) of the future bolt. Thereafter, blanks are transmitted to another machine - thread rolling, the function of which is to form the thread.

  • Cold Heading – the basic receive operation of details such as bolts, screws, rivets. By cold heading of details is meant stamping without preliminary heating of the blank. For the metals and alloys used in stamping such process of deformation corresponds to a cold deformation. For the manufacture of these components cold heading machines, which are used, except heading other operations are performed (cutting, piercing, thread rolling, etc.), which allows to obtain details that do not require cutting, with capacity of up to several hundred per minute. In the automobile and tractor industry, almost all fasteners are cold heading made. Such method is used for producing more complex details (eg. ball and stepped fingers, rollers and ball bearings, etc.).

 

Equipment for metal hardware, fasteners and component parts hot heading

  • Hot heading is carried out on horizontal forging machines. Hot die forging blanks have high strength complex shapes with durability and a wide range of used steel grades (low/medium/high carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, special alloy steel), aluminum or copper alloys. By hot forging method forged gears, rollers, star gears, caps, flanges, links, cranks, parts of valves, oil industry details, railway details, crankshaft kits, rods, the details of the internal combustion engine, solid rolled rings, finger joints, steering rods, spanners, valves, stainless steel tanks, hot water tanks, equipment for spraying, metal bars, and can be produced.
